Aunt Anna and cousin Dana meet Sophia
Adrian’s oldest sister, Anna, and her daughter, Dana, drove from Wisconsin to meet Sophia over Mother’s Day weekend. They came bearing cute baby gifts and a wonderful Hearts at Home book for Corey’s first Mother’s Day. The Food Face Plate will make for funny meals. Sophia also got to meet her great grandmother Hensinger at her lake cottage.

Corey followed a strict regimen of brewing various herbs in tea form, especially throughout her third trimester. Many of the bulk herbs came from an Ann Arbor wholistic living store, called Indigo Forest. They included: red raspberry leaf, alfalfa, oat straw, red clover, nettle, rose hips and spearmint leaf. Sophia Margaux - ready to head home
On Wednesday, April 28, around 9:00-9:15pm, Corey started noticing some more consistent contractions. We didn’t know if they were Braxton Hicks like she had for many months prior. I wrote a quick web software application to keep track of their duration and length. After a couple hours of uncertainty and a bath at 11:00pm, Corey noticed they were definitely different (i.e. one’s you couldn’t sleep through). The times were 5-6min between and 60-75sec in length.
